Tuesday Tip of the Week: April 18, 2017
Find Someone you can Trust
Happy Tuesday Friends! Or is it Monday? Long weekends always mess me up. Either way, here we are. The good thing is it is a short work for some of you. Today’s Tip of the week topic is about trust. Many people say that trust is the key to any relationship. The same can be said when it comes to your financial advisor. Over my time in this industry, I have grown to know almost everything about my clients. That is a sacred trust they have bestowed upon me. Family, health, finances, vulnerabilities, I know about it all. What does this mean?
Knowing someone that truly has your back is key. It doesn’t matter where they come from, although I am biased, as long as they are truly someone you can trust. Part of my job is educational and another part is implementation. Trust must exist so that you know what you are being told is true. You also don’t want any information omitted. Tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. You also have to trust that your advisor is going to do the work they say they are going to do.
It is something that you can’t put a price on. My top two tips for anyone looking to make their money grow is this:
1) Invest Early and Often
2) Find an Advisor your can trust
Thanks for reading my tip of the week. Join me tomorrow for WTF Wednesday, my weekly rant about things that waste your money. Have a great day friends!
